Country

The country of residence of your organization
 
There are national regulations in all countries, no matter if they adopted EASA or not. These national regulations contain rules and licenses not covered by EASA (e.g. sailplanes). Therefore, by selecting your country, Flightnet will show all available national licences, medicals etc

Applying regulations

Here you can select the applying supranational regulations. Currently, if your organization is located in a country that has applied EASA regulations, you should select "JAA/EASA", otherwise "Country-specific only".

Aircraft categories

General: this means that all licenses and permits that are not related to a specific kind of aircraft are shown (like RTI)
Airplanes: if enabled, fixed-wing licenses and permits will be shown
Helicopters:if enabled, rotar-wing licenses and permits will be shown

Time zone

This determines the time zone for the time visible on the top right and for the time that is logged when data is saved

Units

Current unit system (mainly used for weight)
