Best practice to handle emails
You can either copy the email content and add it as a journal entry or add the entire email as a file.
Emails without attachments
You should add such email content as a new journal entry by copy-paste.
Emails with attachments
If all relevant users have the same email client (e.g.Microsoft Outlook)
Please note that such email files can be viewed in the original email client only (e.g. an Outlook email file can't be openend on a Mac).
You can upload the entire email as a document:
1. | In Outlook, open the email and use the "Save as..." command in the file menu |
2. | Save the email file in a folder |
3. | Upload the email file to Flightnet |
If relevant users have different email clients (e.g. a mix between Outlook, iOS etc)
1. | Add the email content as a journal entry |
2. | Add the email attachments as documents |
3. | Add a note in the journal entry that there are related documents |
