Please note that all modifications to an existing course will affect all enrolled students with status "In progress". As a example, if you add a required exercise, the student will have to pass it before the course can be closed. Conversely, removed exercises will no longer be required for enrolled students.

 

You may want to add a new version of a course without affecting enrolled students. For this, simply add a new course and use the existing course as template. This way, you will create a new version of an existing course and leave the original unchanged.
