To make it easy, Flightnet has a feature to generate a random temporary user password. This way, you can authorize an existing or new user in a secure way.
• | the temporary password doesn't affect the regular password. |
• | however, when logging in with the temporary password, the user will be required to immediately change the regular password before using the system. |
• | There is only one temporary password per user at a time. All preceding temporary passwords are turned invalid when a new one is issued. |
The temporary is valid until
• | the first use of the password |
• | the issuance of a new temporary password |
• | 12 hours after the issuance of the temporary password |
How to create and mail a random password
1. | Select the Communication tab |
2. | Add an email address If there's none yet |
3. | Click on to send the password information to the user |
Please note that a newly created temporary password can be sent by email or SMS. If you want to inform the user by various ways (several email adresses or SMS), you must do this within 30 minutes, otherwise a new temporary password will be issued, turning the preceding ones invalid.
