Passenger ticket PDF form

Requirements

Flightnet can fill a PDF form with passenger data. The form is only required if you want to print tickets.
You can use any paper size. However, the system was designed to use a standard format (such as DIN A4) with multiple tickets on a page. In case when there are less passengers that tickets on the paper, the remaining tickets are left empty and will have  to be wasted or used later.
There are basically two ways you can print tickets:
1. You can include all data (including ticket design, regulations text etc.) in the PDF form. You may even prepare it to be printed double-sided
2. You can use printed ticket forms that are inserted in you printer. Flightnet then only fills the required fields (you need to design the PDF form and position the fields accordingly).
Please note that in every case, the printing process will work this way:
1. You insert the paper in the printer
2. You print the filled PDF form from Flightnet
Therefore, it is important that the PDF template matches the paper inserted to the printer regarding positions.
There is no way Flightnet can control which printer bay or if double-sided printing is used. The printing process is controlled by the PDF reader, therefore all settings that differ from default printer settings must be manually changed during each printing process.
Therefore, the simplest solution is to use preprinted paper that has fields to be filled by Flightnet (e.g. tickets with empty passenger data fields on one side and applying regulations on the rear page).

Types of tickets

You can define two types of tickets:
- commercial flight tickets
- private flight tickets
the "commercial" flag of the reservation category determines which ticket type is selectable

How the PDF form is filled by Flightnet

1.The maximum number of passenger ticket per page is configured in the document template setting
2.Based on that number and the number of passengers, Flightnet will determine how many pages are needed to print all tickets
3.Flightnet will produce a PDF containing all tickets, possibly containing several pages.

Field names

These are the default field names. In a form, there must be a suffix indicating the passenger number relative to the page.

The content is controlled by the reservation category. If "Pilot is carrier" is enabled, the pilot's name is used as carrier, otherwise the name of your organization.

Example: You want to use a template containing three tickets per page. Then you need these fields on your form
