Passengers

This option allows you to manage passengers together with reservations and to print tickets prior to the flight.

Preparation

1.	Design at least one ticket template in PDF format (you can add separate templates for commercial and private flights and manage an unlimited number of templates)

2.	Upload it to Flightnet

How it works

1.	You enter passenger name, rotation and other fields with the reservation.

2.	Prior to the flight, you print the flight tickets from Flightnet. The selection is determined by the "commercial" flag of the reservation category (commercial PDF templates for commercial reservation categories, otherwise private PDF templates)

3.	You can select the template and print the tickets

Rules

• Users only see their own passengers (resp. where they act as pilot or instructors)

• Resellers are a special group that can enter passengers for reservations of a special type

• Users with "Manage all reservations" permission can manage all users (including reseller passengers)

• Passenger data is editable as long as the related reservation is editable (e.g. no changes for past or cancelled reservations)

Private and commercial flights

• Please note that you can use various passenger ticket templates. The number of different templates is unlimited.

• Every ticket template is assigned to commercial or private reservation categories

• Most importantly, you should distinguish between private and commercial flights

Note: if the distinction between commercial and private flights is irrelevant for your organisation, you may use the same PDF forms. However, you'll have to upload it twice (once assigned to commercial and once assigned to private flights).

Ticket numbers

• Flightnet uses automatically generated ticket numbers

• A ticket number is unique in your organization

• For each new ticket, the next unused higher ticket number is used

• The next ticket start number can be configured on [Company / Club] [Settings] in the "Passengers" tab

Number of seats and rotations

• Please note that the number of passengers per rotation is limited by the number of seats which can be different for each aircraft.

• The number of rotations per reservation isn't limited.

Duplication of reservations with passengers

•	If the original reservation is active, the passengers remain with the original reservation

•	If the original reservation has been cancelled, the passengers are moved to the duplicated reservation.

Therefore, you should proceed this way if a flight with passengers is cancelled.

1.	Cancel the related reservation

2.	To reschedule the flight, load the cancelled reservation and duplicate it.

3.	When you save the duplicate, the passengers will automatically be transferred from the cancelled to the duplicate reservation.

This is the only automatism transferring passengers from one reservation to another.
