Reservations > Maintenance reservations

The maintenance reservations window ("Reservation" > "Maintenance") helps you to add a maintenance reservation and cancel all conflicting reservations.

Add a maintenance reservation

1. Navigate to "Reservation" > "Maintenance"

2. Select the registration

3. Select the reservation owner. This is the person in whose name the reservation is saved (this means that this person will be entered as "pilot")

4. Select the type of flight. Only maintenance types of flight are selectable.

5. Enter start date and time

6. Enter end date and time

7. Add a description (cancellation reason)

8. Define the action for conflicting reservations

- Move to waiting list

- Cancel

9. Click on [Show affected reservations] to list all concerned reservations

10. Click on [Save maintenance reservation] to save the reservation and execute the action as defined in 8.

	Once you have added a maintenance reservation it will be treated like all other reservations. This window is just a special way of adding reservations for maintenance. In contrast to the regular way of adding reservations, here the new reservation has priority over existing reservations.
	The "Move to waiting list" action keeps the conflicting reservations in the waiting status. This action is suggested if you are not sure how long the aircraft will be grounded. If you change the maintenance reservation start and/or end at a later moment, the waiting list reservations will become valid if possible in terms of availability.
