Zone 1 - Reservation details

This zone contains the basic reservation data.

Zone 2 - Availability check

Once you click  on , the availability of the resources is indicated by green, orange or red colors.

There are quite few rules that have an impact on reservations and availability:

- reservation limits and rules

- staff availability

Zone 4 - Additional data

On the left side, you see a list of all registrations.

Zone 3 - Resource and pilot data

On the right side, additional information about the resource, pilot and flight instructor are included. You are warned if a license or rating will be expired on the flight date.

Zone 5 - Reservation actions

Depending on the status of your reservation and your permissions there will buttons to execute various tasks like to save a changed reservation or cancel it.

Registration

Aircraft registration or resource name (simulator, class room etc.)

Type of flight

Type of flight for this reservation

The type of flight selection influences the other selections. You can select a flight instructor for instruction flights and aircraft for types requiring an aircraft only.

Pilot

Pilot for the flight

Only users with an pilot licence (PPL, CPL, Student etc.) are selectable. See user administration for details.

Instructor

Instructor for the flight (field is available for corresponding types of flight only)

Only users with an instructor rating (FI, IRI etc.) are selectable. See user administration for details.

Exclusive

This checkbox is only visible if concurrent flight instructor bookings are enabled in the settings. By activating the "Exclusive" field, the instructor is exclusively booked for that period of time and cannot be booked for other concurrent reservations (default: inactive).

Load flight itinerary

Loads the flight itinerary with the reservation data

Notification by email

Check for a notification by email

Saves the current reservation. Before saving, an availability check will be performed (same as when clicking [Availability check])

Duplicates the current reservation, thus allowing to reuse the reservation content

Shows a history of all reservation changes that affect availability (start, end, pilot etc. but not remarks and similar data)

Cancels a reservation

Closes the current window
